Snow launches blog - 63 days to the election.

Labor Day has traditionally been the day that the election season truly kicks off and so it is only appropriate that Senator Snow launches his blog. Using this we will talk directly with everyone who wants to learn more about the campaign and Snow's vision for Western North Carolina. So many good things were accomplished by Senator Snow in his first term as a member of the North Carolina Senate.

He introduced and voted for legislation that resulted in:

• A 96% reduction in meth in his district and a 64% reduction state wide
• Increased salaries for teachers – brining them closer to the national average
• Giving better tools to law enforcement officers to track and stop sexual predators
• Stopping government from using eminent domain to unjustly take private property

He voted for legislation that will:

• Curb illegal immigration in North Carolina
• Capping the gas tax
• Provide tax credits for small businesses that provide health insurance for employees
• Increase the minimum wage in North Carolina
